White River Health and UnitedHealthcare: What You Need to Know

We are pleased to share that White River Health (WRH) has reached new agreements with UnitedHealthcare (UHC) for both commercial and Medicare Advantage plans. WRH has secured a two-year agreement for commercial plans and an extension through December 31, 2026, for Medicare Advantage.

Patients should continue scheduling and seeking care as they normally would. Although there was a short period when WRH was out-of-network with UHC, because of the new agreements, any care you received during that time will be covered at your in-network rate.

While the MA agreement is an extension and not yet a long-term solution, it ensures stability through the end of the year and gives patients time to make informed decisions during the upcoming annual enrollment period.

Our Commitment

White River Health proudly advocated for a contract with the nation’s largest health insurer that more accurately reflects the cost of delivering care in our community. We believe it is essential to secure agreements that support our patients, caregivers, and the long-term strength of local healthcare.

Our priority is, and always will be, the patients and communities we serve.
